Welcome

JavaSlimServer is a 100% Java API used to communicate with SlimDevices SqueezeCenter. Its primary use will be for others to develop clients using this library to communicate with SqueezeCenter to manage playlists and play music files.

JavaSlimServer communicates with SqueezeCenter via SqueezeCenter's command line interface (CLI) allowing the server to be controlled remotely by the client. The development originated when creating Bill's Jammin' Jukebox (check it out!). Please contact me if you decide to use JavaSlimServer and, as I'm sure you will, let me know of any bugs you encounter so they can be quickly :-þ corrected.

You will find using JavaSlimServer fairly simple and straightforward. See my examples page to get started or check out the javadocs page for full documentation.
